Maximise your potential by being you

“Authenticity means erasing the gap between what you firmly believe inside and what you reveal to the outside world.” - Adam Grant

Show up as you.

We are all the product of many things, our upbringing, our work experiences, our relationship experiences and all the “one off” occurrences that have shaped our thinking and being. Included in those things are a series of biases and prejudices that we may be conscious of, or not. Regardless of our conscious awareness or not, the biases and prejudices we carry affect our decision-making process and our interactions with other people.

My goal at The Authentic Whole is to facilitate your thinking so you can become aware of your biases, learn to control them and, if you feel it’s necessary, correct them, so you can maximise your potential by being you. I do this in a variety of ways from using Facilitative Coaching, mindfulness practice or a combination of the two.

After completing the ten week course with Ian, I was surprised by how much I changed my way of thinking and the way that I approach problem solving. I have used the techniques shared by Ian at both work and home and incorporated them into my daily routine.

I’ve gained huge value from our coaching sessions. Spending time reflecting on a situation, with great questions from Ian has helped understand the root of the issue and what I can do about it. Sessions with Ian have helped my confidence, built boundaries and really helped me focus on my strengths and longer term goals.
Ian is very personable. His style is friendly, empathetic and curious ensuring each session delivers an outcome to the sessions objectives. I have enjoyed and gained value from regular sessions and have already seen a change and able to use some of the techniques to coach myself.
